Kubernetes CKA-CKAD Updates – 1.16 Exam Curriculum, Labs, Inspiration

I hope you are cruising through the Kubernetes courses. I wanted to update you about some of the changes recently announced in the Kubernetes Exam Curriculum and some additional labs we have introduced recently to our courses to help you prepare for the new versions.

Exam Curriculum:

The CKA exam curriculum recently got updated to include “Install and use kubeadm to install, configure and manage Kubernetes clusters“.

We covered setting up a Kubernetes cluster using kubeadm in the beginner’s course. We have added a new lab for you to practice this in the Install section towards the end of the CKA course.

Labs Upgrade:

We have already upgraded a few labs to version 1.16. In the upcoming weeks, we will be upgrading more labs and hopefully have all of them upgraded to the newer version by the end of the month. But that shouldn’t stop you from your studies. There aren’t enough differences in the versions to hold you back from attempting the exams.

Inspiration:

Congratulations to those who recently cleared the certification exams:

Important Notice:

If you are planning for CKA or CKAD certifications within the next year, NOW is the best time to register for the exams.

Linux Foundation just announced the biggest deal of the year. They are offering the CKA and CKAD exams at just 65% discount of their original price.

You can get the exams at just $189 (instead of $499) for one – CKA or CKAD, or $349 (instead of $998) for both – CKA and CKAD.

I would highly recommend getting both, as it is easier to prepare and clear the exams together. If you plan to get both, go for the “Kubernetes Super Bundle” and use the code SUPERBUNDLE65. If you plan to go for just one, then select the individual bundle exam and use the code BUNDLE60.

Once purchased, you will have up to 1 year to prepare and attempt the certification exam. Plus you get one free retake.

Get the deal here

The deal is only active for a few days, so make the most of it while you can.

The deal comes with both exam and training from Linux Foundation in a bundle. You cannot purchase the exam alone. Even then this is a big saving. The exams alone cost $300, and now you can get both the exam and training for $189.

Feel free to comment here if you have any questions.
